High Hopes for Team Taylor in the Valleys
Sleaford's David Pattrick and Sheffield's Simon Ashton are hoping for better luck on next weekends Red Dragon Rally (3rd June) than the event gave to them last year, when they encountered more problems on that one event than in the rest of their 1999 season!
The pairing are on a high at the moment having lead their class in the Peugeot Sport Gold Star Championship for the first time ever until missing the last round, the Plains Rally. Fortunately for Team Taylor, one of the other leading contenders retired on the Plains so they are still very much in contention still.
The 45 mile event starts in Neath with a very compact route of just five special stages. However the forests are the very ones used on the Network Q Rally Great Britain which David finished for the first time last year, so the Peugeot 106 mounted crew are hoping for something even more special this time out.
